I think a big part of successful weightloss is making yourself accountable for your actions. It helps to have someone, beyond yourself, to hold you accountable because we let ourselves off too easily.
Lately, I've been really busy. I just started my final semester of law school. When I'm not in class, I'm representing criminal defendants in the clinic, volunteering on a legislative committee at the NH Attorney General's Office, and working in the school law library. With as busy as I have been, I've been striving to find balance in my schedule so I can find time to workout. Well, I have made nothing but excuses for myself. Sure, I'm busy, but if I can find time to watch television for two hours at night, I can take the time to do yoga or hit the gym. I just need to rearrange my schedule and get off my butt.
Tomorrow, I have a gym date at 7:30 am with a classmate. Hopefully, this will jumpstart my gym routine and get me back into the swing of things. I miss the gym. I felt less stressed and had more energy when I went to the gym every morning. No more excuses; I'm going tomorrow!

Light Treat of the Week: No Pudge Brownies
Points+: 3
I have a love for fudgy brownies, especially the corner pieces. Strangely enough, I'm not a big chocolate fan, and I especially don't like cake-like brownies, so I was hesitant to try a "diet" brownie. When I was having a serious sweet tooth, I decided to give these fat free brownies a try. I have heard rave reviews about them, so I was more willing to try these than make the questionable black bean brownies I have heard so much talk about.
I tried the original flavor, but these brownies also come in raspberry, mint, cappacino. The original came out to be 3 Points+ for a 2 x 2 inch square, which is great for a baked good! Plus, they are all natural.
They only call for the brownie mix and 6 oz. of vanilla yogurt. The directions warn that the batter will be thick, and they are not kidding. The batter was like dough, and I have to admit, I was very sceptical. However, these brownies came out SO GOOD. They were very chocolatey (not light tasting at all) and fudgy! I was pleasantly surprised. My husband and I loved them and would definitely buy them again.
